flys in restaurant on food.over priced food
I liked the cleanliness of the hotel and the view. Staff were very friendly.
Didnt like the fact that the children pool was very very cold and also there was no bottled water in the hotel room. Shouldve given that as theres no shops near by.
The people at Le Vizir were great, from the guys in the Reception to the staff in the restaurants; special mention to Muhammad in the Animations team who our young kids found great fun!
We had a free upgrade to a Solarium room which was great, probably as the hotel was fairly quiet, and this allowed some great views and on a clear day the snow-capped mountains were spectacular.
The transfers into Marrakesh were good but have to be booked in advance, a day or two at least, and we had a misunderstanding with the driver on our return one day which left us stranded, but luckily we spoke Arabic and found a large taxi to take us back.
The women's pool was closed for two of our five days due to repairs and maintenance which was disappointing because the kids enjoyed the pool there. The pirate pool was a bit too cold for the kids to enjoy.
The dinner is served quite late, especially for young children and a couple of times the restaurant became a la carte, which was nice but we would have liked to be told (we went but didn't see the buffet so walked around a bit more...).
All staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. Resort and accommodation itself was well maintained and very clean with a kitchenette and lovely balcony overlooking the main pool. The ladies only pool is an added bonus. Free return shuttle to town was extremely useful. Best to reserve seats the night before as spaces fill quickly. I would recommend this place as I think if offers good value for money and think the resort is most suited to families with children. Breakfast buffet was nice with lots of variety .
Apart from breakfast buffet which was nice but the rest of the food was very disappointing, with few options and overpriced. The room service was good but the cuisine was not tasty at all and is a let down . I wish I had eaten out to taste good food including tasty Moroccan cuisine . It would of been nice to have a heated outside pool during the cooler days.
This was our first holiday and we really enjoyed our time there from 11/02/17 to 14/02/17. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfy. The kitchen area had a few pots & pans if you needed to cook your own food. The air condition worked well. Breakfast had a lot of choices. Le vizir is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city and we enjoyed the calm and quiet environment. The resort is big and we used to go for a stroll every morning after breakfast. The free shuttle service is very convenient but you need to book in advance. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the city area and will save you from 150-250 MAD on taxi fares. You'll find it easy to communicate if you are good at french or local arabic. The staff were always smiling and Khaled at the reception spoke good english and was very welcoming and helpful. The scenery is beautiful and the hammaam was very refreshing.
May be they could get a vending machine for snacks as there aren't any stores near by. More english speaking staff would be helpful and so would menus etc in english.
The staff were really friendly and helpful.especially the manager and the entertainment guy, Muhammed. It was halal friendly and felt safe travelling and staying there. They helped a lot with finding places to go.
The room service was terrible in that the food was just not nice at all and expensive.
